Bill Oddie

Bill Oddie is a comedy writer and performer, author, composer, musician and a fantastic birdwatcher. Bill was married to Jean Hart and had 2 beautiful daughters Kate Hardie and Bonnie Hardie. Then he got a divorce and married Laura Beaumont which he has helped her with projects for children such as puppet shows and books. Laura and Bill had a daughter, which they named Rosie.

Bill was a member of the popular show "The Goodies" starring with Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden, Co-wrote several episodes of "Doctor in the House" and it's sequels with Graeme Garden, was a member of the highly successful radio show "I'm Sorry, I'll Read That Again" with Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graeme Garden, John Cleese and Jo Kendall. Bill was also a member of the Cambridge University Footlights Club, where his musical genius was set free. Went to the United States for the Footlights stage show "Cambridge Circus" in 1964, and appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show". He plays the oboe, and he is a fantastic bird-watcher in which he wrote 2 books: "Persecuting Pigeons In Trafalgar Square" and "The Turkey Strangler Song" for the ISIRTA.
